Results of training and education via FFS on type and method of herbicide application on rice farms, (c) weed-free training demonstration plot using Solito 320 EC and (d) business as usual grass and broad leaf weed infested farmer’s plot using generic glyphosate and 2-4-D based herbicides. The success of the FSS has now created a demand for Solito 320 EC that we have also supplied the farmers this year.
The farms (over 50 ha) of the farmers we are presently working with is located in Aule, Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria Lat. 07° 16. 800’ N and Lon. 005° 09. 350’ E
